Dhruvi's umbrella!

Dhruvi, my room mate had washed her umbrella and kept in the sun to dry...
That's when i saw its shadow and fell in love!
Clicked using Tanya's Sony Alpha DSLR.

Yashica!

23/395
My Dad's Yashica Film SLR clicked through my Nikon Coolpix L5.
My Dad's first camera captured by my first camera!
This photo was clicked during the Advanced photography course with studio lighting.

Film SLR + Alienware = Wow!

22/395
The composition is gone for a toss but the effect is awesome!
The shutter speed was low and I played with the focus.
This play with focus was intentional and not a blunder!
I love my laptop!

Cool Blue from Candies!
I love the salads at Candies!
I think one day I should go to Candies and just click photographs there.
What a place! Love it. I am talking about the Candies in Bandra next to Learner's Academy.
About the photo... Macro again! The water droplets... <3
Clicked with Nikon DSLR.
20/395
This is the grill seen through the curtain. I like taking macro photos of interesting textures.

Local trains

19/395
I like the motion of the handle. The handle should have been in the frame though. Couldn't get it. I kept trying... :-/
Clicked with a Nikon DSLR

Rashmeet
It was Rashmeet's birthday and we were on our way to Phoenix Mills.
I clicked this photo when she was gazing at the sea thinking about her birthday wishes, while the train crossed the Vashi bridge. I like the light falling on her face.
The photo would have been nicer if her eyes and the sparkle in her eyes would have been seen.

Mumbai!

Soumya
This is Soumya... coming to meet us at Phoenix Mills around half an hour late.
The attitude is so awesome!! No regret!
We (the retail batch) had gone to Phoenix mills to do a customer study for event design.
This is clicked with my friend Kalyani's Nikon DSLR.

After Party! ;)

16/395
On 24th March 2011, our only Seniors (the first UG Batch) had their Convocation Ceremony.
After all the official stuff, my room mates and me hosted a Hostel Party for the Senior girls in our room.
All I can say about the party is that it was great fun and it will be remembered forever.

We miss You, Seniors! :(
This is how our hall looked.

I am waiting for the roll in the SLR to get over... I have clicked pictures with it of the ceremony.
*fingers crossed*

Film SLR Blunders!

Tanya
No prizes for guessing the blunder! Its obvious!
The focus is on 3 strands of hair!!! I am a genius!

Film SLR continued....

I don't want to say anything about this photo...
I just love it and the person in it!
My lovely Friend and Roommate Aditi.

Women's Day... through Film SLR!

13/395
This is the photo I clicked with the film SLR on Women's Day.
I like everything about this photo!
The light, the models, the expressions and the grainy texture!!

SLR Photography.

12/395
This photograph is also clicked in natural light.
I can't express what exactly I liked in this picture...
I think the fact that even though it's a small twig and was high up I managed to focus, is making me like it!
I must admit that i have been making blunders with the focus... again! :-p
I will put up some blunders too.

Film SLR continued....

11/395
Another photograph from the Film SLR.
This one was clicked in the sunlight.
I love the dotted texture of the film.
There's something about photographs taken from Film SLR's.
They look old and give a warm feeling. :)

Got the film roll developed! :)

10/395
This photograph of my Nikon Coolpix L5 is clicked using a Yashica Film SLR.
This was again a part of my Advanced photography course.
We were doing product photography using studio lights.

The next few photographs will be from the film SLR.
