Trip to the park

The other day when I went to the nearby park with Mukta (my niece) I realized that the park is a nice place to get photographs of children. So I went there again today and clicked some photos of this little boy.

The light was perfect... the Golden Hour I guess... :)

 Mukta my niece loves to get photographed.

So much that she almost directs how and where the photo should be clicked.

Now that I see the photos I realize how bad the composition is!

These are good example for how to not compose your photos.

Textile Expo

 I accompanied my mother to a textile expo at the World Trade Center in Mumbai.

I came back with these photographs of the saris on display.

'Karavali'

I took this photograph when I went with my mother for another bridal make up session.

This little girl is the 'Karavali' ie. the next one to be married.

It doesn't really stand true here or in most cases so no need to freak out!

This cute little girl won't be married off so soon... (hopefully)

I left the venue before the bride was ready so no photographs of the bride.

Mukta - my neice

 We have known Shalaka tai since childhood. We used to go camping with her. 

Mukta is her elder daughter. She is so bright and always has questions!

When Shalaka Tai was expecting her second child, she requested me to click photos of her and Mukta.

Almost like a photo shoot. =]

This was the first time I was shooting Mukta or actually the first time I was doing a planned shoot for a child!

It wasn't very difficult... I guess Mukta is just awesome and so it went so smooth... :)

Mukta loved them so much that now every time I meet her she wants me to bring my camera and click photos!

She's named Radha... Oh I love that name!

 My mum  did the make up and hairstyle for the bride, Aarti.

I got this photo while she posed for the photographers.

There was such a rush while she got ready. 

God knows how wedding photographers like Joe Radhik and The Unreal Bride do such a great job!

I love their photos! 

I messed up the white balance in the photo below.

Aarti looks red! :/
