100! I thought I will never reach here... it took so long!
This post is very special for many reasons. Firstly, 100th photo.
Secondly these are photos of my pretty younger sister.
Most importantly, these photos are clicked using my own DSLR.
Yes! I finally bought a DSLR. I bought the Canon 60D Semi Pro.
These four photos also show my journey of  'Out of focus to in focus'! :)
And finally, I will be using 'Praneti Kulkarni Photugraphy' on my new photos.
Feels so nice!

Britto's
I have been to Goa before but Goa with friends, no no, Goa with crazy friends is the Best!
Almost the whole college was in Goa for Kyoorius Design Yatra 2011.
We were there only for three days but we did so much, its unbelievable.
The best part was that I could click photos on Tanyas' DSLR, Sony Alpha 200.
I hardly used my Nikon coolpix.

This photo was clicked at Britto's a restaurant/shack on Baga Beach.
Great sea food and delicious desserts. The tiramisu was like heaven on earth!
The ambience was great too. Yellow lights everywhere. A bokeh had to clicked!

I have no idea why I liked this photograph.
Its clicked using a film SLR and the composition is ok ok. Focus bhi hai kahin par...
It seems like the pot is hiding and the plant is peeping out to see who's coming...
I don't know!

Colours come out so nice in a film.

How do you decide if a photograph is good or not? On what basis?
Could I say that this photo is good? I like the randomness in it.
But is it enough to be a part of this blog?

How does a photo become good?

The sun came out in the open after days today and for sometime in the afternoon there were shadows.
I could not miss this and had to click some photos. This photo is quite random... but I like the shadows.
My friend and current flatmate Srishti got this intricate ear ring from Bandra, we loved it instantly but she lost the other one.
I will be clicking some more photos of it. And also of Wine glasses! :)

Why do shadows and reflections amuse me?!!

It seemed like the Band and the lights were performing!
The drum set looked awesome.

Lead Singer - Rahul Ram
One would think whats so special about this photo... but getting such a photo from a compact digital camera is impossible. I don't know how this happened... but am happy it did! :)

Morning sun coming in through the window.

This photo was clicked at Kanoria Art Center, Ahmedabad.
Its a wall full of 4"x4" tiles with drawings, paintings, basically artwork done by kids coming there.
This particular tile had glass pebbles set in cement on it. While I tried to get a macro photo... my classmates Soumya and Palak were busy admiring the tiles and making faces!
I managed to capture those too! :)

This photo was clicked at Kanoria Art Center, Ahmedabad.
The plank of wood looks like some hero, leaning against the wall.
After sometime the eyes reach the brick wall in extreme perspective on the left.
The green trees on the right look like a part of a completely different photo.
