We played Holi in our college. 

As you can see its more of mud than colour, but i managed to capture some colour after I was done playing. 

I like the contrast in the above picture.

Today (07.03.11) I went a little crazy with my laptop... My laptop has this crazy feature in which i can change the colour of the light emitted by the keypad, track pad, speakers, etc.

It even has cool effects like morphing, etc. 
I know... very useless but then its really awesome for clicking photos!

I used my roommates Sony Alpha 200 and did some crazier stuff with the zoom and focus.

I loved it. My room mates and me were tripping over the photos so here's another photo.

(Thanks to my classmates who didn't turn up for class, I was left alone with a Canon 500D!)

This is what happens when I have an acrylic rod, a small piece of mirror finish acrylic and the bright sun.

I love the colours and the shadows made by the rod.

This was fun. I clicked almost 300 photos in 2 hours using these objects,

Looking forward to more such classes! :)

I love the colours of this object! So I dedicated another day to it! :)

The object and a stripe of Mirror finished acrylic in the sun!

I remembered about the project early in the morning and the photos were clicked first!

A hectic day and not so nice photos. 

Realized late that the photos weren't good enough.

Nothing much to say either.

Today's photo - Found this cycle interesting. 
The colours looked nice against the grey stone wall. 
Also its a nice perspective. :)

Hmm... I am still getting used to this but i am liking this already.

I have started noticing objects, situations, people, etc. around me.

Suddenly everything is so colorful, so nice, so worth clicking a picture of! :)

Today's day can be called out of focus. 

Most of the pictures that i clicked today are out of focus. So were my contact lenses!

Today's photo - This is origami done by Rushil with some help from Mamta for the Form Kinematics course.

Thanks to this course there are many interesting things happening in the Product Design studio lately.

I think am going to capture all of the explorations done by the Product Design students for this week.

Seems like i have a theme for the week! Yaay!

Was busy in the wood workshop the whole day. 

Remembered about the project only in the evening. (Not used to this yet!) 

While sitting on the lawn with my room mates, enjoying the pleasant weather, I clicked this photo. 

I had been admiring the bamboo structures for sometime now. 
(Its made by the 3rd yrs as part of the open electives course - Bamboo Shelters)

I like Bamboo. I like Perspective. :)

Why 395?

Hello! 

Starting today i.e. 1st March 2011 onwards am going to click a photo a day.

This will continue till 31st March 2012. 

A year + A month = 395

I am including March 2012 in the project because that will be officially my last month in MIT's Institute of Design so, there will be a lot that i would want to click and capture. The place, the people, their emotions, etc.

And  also our Convocation too will be in March 2012.

As you can see, i am not very good with writing, i hope i improve as the blog proceeds.

And so does my photography.

I am not limiting myself to any theme for this project. 

I am going to capture my day to day activities, thoughts, my Friends, my Work, etc. 

My main aim is to improve my photography.

I am using a Nikon L5 Digital camera.

Enough of typing, lets click! :)
